The first strategic meeting of beamuplab vol.3 starts with a focus on the types of financial instruments and the opportunities for companies to access investment capital. Mr. Martin Gikov, Executive Director and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Fund of Funds will open Gravity MeetUp I. The representatives of the 22 participating companies will have the opportunity to get acquainted with the mechanisms for financing small and medium-sized companies, the legislative and regulatory framework of financial instruments with EU support and what is the role of the Fund of Funds in the new programming period 2021-2027.

Other highlights of today's meeting are how investment platform SeedBlink supports start-ups with good ideas; useful advice from QuestUps when creating strategic partners, advisors and clients in Great Britain and mezzanine investing as a hybrid form between equity and debt financing - presented by the first and only such fund in our country - Silverline Capital. Traditionally, selected companies will make a demonstrative investor pitch. Of particular interest are the special presentations of Hobo, Imagga, Quendoo, ThingsLog and Varrio Sport, as well as the subsequent feedback from investors.

The moderator of the meeting is Eneya Georgieva, who is an editor at Forbes Bulgaria and is part of the Association of European Journalists in our country. She covers the success of Bulgarian entrepreneurs with a focus on the startup ecosystem, technology, and social entrepreneurship.
